Chipotle flavor is the hottest trend in Mexican and southwest cooking. Santa Cruz Chipotle Chili Paste is made from sun ripened jalapenos, picked from our own fields at the peak of flavor. We then smoke them over aromatic wood, drying them into rich "Chipotle" peppers. In our processing plant, we transform and blend the chipotle pepper into an easy-to-use paste, ready to update all your Mexican and southwestern recipes. You now have a US source of high quality chipotle - grown, smoked and processed under US FDA standards. If desired, we can customize your chipotle paste to your taste profile.
